Connect your phone to Samsung Kies once more. Disconnect the USB and insert it to a new port on the computer. Substitute USB hub or a docking station for the USB cable in connection. Try to update Samsung Kies to Kies 3 version via 'Information'Check for updates'. Restart Samsung Kies and reboot the computer and your phone.

- Solution for me was click ontop left corner of kies, and choose restore/reinstall phone drivers. I highly doubt the suggest fix above. Nah it works for me. I do not know what was the connection.
